Their biggest demand of functional ingredient was in the food category on meat applications, and followed by non-food applications like the pet food. 

For 2021, W Hydrocolloids is optimistic that there will be better days ahead and we are looking into the following opportunities of the current pandemic:

3) Offer innovative products – W Hydrocolloids continuously develops new and innovative products to maximize our potential in providing food innovation to our clients. As such, developing new product lines and helpful solutions will be one of our major goal. Plant-based products also had a drastic increase these years and consumers nowadays have shifted to plant-based food products with people becoming more health conscious.

4) Improve customer service – Customer service can be the face of the company. No matter how good a product is if not delivered on time, surely customers are most likely to remember this. To ensure on-time delivery of products, this will be supported by real time order tracking, setting realistic deadline, and predicting production demand.
